Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage Change Management, Release Management, and Service Transition processes.
  • Lead CAB meetings, oversee change reviews, approvals, and implement robust back-out plans.
  • Maintain release calendars and coordinate with development, testing, and operations teams for timely delivery.
  • Ensure operational readiness before service go-live and enforce service acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Deliver regular reports covering success rates, trends, and areas for improvement.
  • Promote continuous improvement, governance, and compliance with ITIL best practices.
Stakeholders You'll Work With:
  • Internal: Senior Leadership Team, Technology Leads, Product/Service Owners, IT Service Desk
  • External: Supplier Partners, Third-Party Vendors
Key Skills & Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in ITIL-based Service Management (Change, Release & Transition)
  • Proven experience managing complex IT changes and large-scale releases
  • Familiarity with IBM tools, ServiceNow, or similar ITSM platforms
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Analytical mindset for risk assessment and problem-solving
  • Understanding of the UK electricity market and Ofgem regulations
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity practices in IT operations
  • Background in project management or multi-vendor service delivery environments
