Job Description:

Summary: Inform the technical architecture, roadmap, and design of the Microsoft Fabric and related data-centric platforms/solutions.

Key Accountabilities:

• Report to the Data & Analytics (D&A) Data Engineering Manager to agree on priorities and daily activities.
• Design the technical architecture, roadmap, and scalable solutions for data-centric platforms on Microsoft Fabric and other platforms, including OneLake, Lakehouses, Data Warehousing, Dataflows & Pipelines, metadata and data lineage management, data governance, and master data management (MDM).
• Integrate with on-premise, cloud, and third-party data sources.
• Collaborate with Lead Data Architect and Data Architecture Team to ensure designs align with standards and models.
• Work with IT Subject Matter Experts to align designs with enterprise architecture principles and security practices.
• Participate in workshops to provide technical expertise for use case feasibility.
• Support the D&A Product Manager in prioritizing the backlog using established criteria.

Skills:

• Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both business and technical audiences.
• Deep understanding of Microsoft Fabric architecture.
• Experience with agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in fundamental Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning techniques.
