Job Title: Warehouse Operations Supervisor

This role involves supervising the day-to-day operations on site, including people management, warehousing, traffic, and admin operations. You will deputise for the Contract / Operations Manager when required and oversee all aspects of the contract service centre to ensure the achievement of KPIs set by the company and the customer. Additionally, you'll ensure that all site operations are completed efficiently, escalating issues as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

1. Plan and coordinate the incoming goods, storage, and dispatch of items in a timely and efficient manner to meet team objectives and KPIs.
2. Ensure all warehousing activities comply with the Operations Manual and service centre working instructions.
3. Plan resources effectively to ensure operations are conducted in the most cost-effective and efficient manner.
4. Ensure all vehicles are loaded and unloaded safely, correctly, and within specified time limits.
5. Ensure warehouse operatives complete loading and unloading documentation accurately and on time.
6. Manage stock effectively, including space allocation, stock transfers, and handling non-conforming products.
7. Maintain high standards of product and service quality within the warehouse for the customer.

Essential Criteria

• Previous experience in the logistics or distribution industry.
