Job description

Job Title: Catering Supervisor

We are recruiting an experienced Catering Supervisor who is passionate about exceptional food and world-class customer service. This role involves overseeing all catering and service operations for Chartwells, part-time, contracted to 16.25 hours per week.

Responsibilities include:

1. Preparing delicious food to the highest standards
2. Supervising culinary and catering teams to ensure excellent food and service
3. Communicating regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targets
4. Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image
5. Liaising between customers and teams to exceed expectations
6. Supporting and training teams to excel in their roles
7. Implementing and reviewing Health & Safety standards for compliance

Ideal candidate:

• Passionate about great-tasting food and customer service
• Minimum of two years catering experience
• Experience managing teams in a similar role
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ambitious and motivated to upskill

This role is contracted to 42.6 weeks per year. Part of Compass Group UK&I, Chartwells provides catering services to the education sector, serving millions of nutritious meals weekly.
