Job summary

A leading company in the print and packaging industry is seeking a Senior Account Manager to drive new business opportunities and manage key accounts. Job description

The primary role

To effectively manage Regional / Key Account customers, driving new business opportunities at a Senior level across multiple divisional channels. To develop strong cross-functional and senior relationships within these customers, ensuring strategic alignment on medium to long-term customer objectives, e.g., sustainability goals, whilst maximising new business opportunities.

Key Activities and Responsibilities

  • Assist and work alongside the UK Sales Director.
  • Manage Regional / Key accounts, including project management of Supply Chain activities.
  • Generate new business opportunities within the current customer base and across new divisional channels.
  • Drive IFG new product development to support the sustainability agenda.
  • Build excellent working relationships internally and with customers.

Who are we looking for?

You have demonstrable experience within a Field Sales role, utilising a structured approach to the selling process. A track record of delivering profitable sales growth and managing and developing strong customer relationships in a fast-paced, high-volume product environment. You should have a high degree of PC competency, with a good working knowledge of the MS Office suite. Experience within the print/packaging industry is desirable.
