Are you currently working as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner or an Advanced Paramedic Practitioner or about to complete your training? Are you interested in using your skills, knowledge and expertise in remote and rural communities? An opportunity has arisen to join our motivated and dedicated team of practitioners serving the communities within Skye and Lochalsh across two hospital sites (Broadford and Portree). You would be providing care to the population of Skye (approximately 13,000). However, we do attract in the region of 1 million tourists every year, so it is never dull.
You must have or be working towards the MSc in Advanced Practice, with highly developed clinical decision-making skills and the ability to work autonomously. An ability to think on your feet and sometimes out of the box is desirable. In return, we offer a generous relocation package and the opportunity to further develop your skills in advanced practice working alongside our Rural Emergency Practitioners. We would welcome any informal visits.
