Management Accountant job, ASAP start

Your new company

A well known organisation are looking to recruit a commercially minded management accountant to provide support to the day-to-day finance function and deliver timely management accounts.

Your new role

Reporting to the Head of Finance you will be responsible for:

1. Responsible for delivering monthly management accounts including posting journals, accruals, and prepayments and variance analysis.
2. Completing balance sheet reconciliations to ensure a controlled environment.
3. Monthly payroll journals.
4. Updating the Fixed asset register.
5. Producing monthly budget statements.
6. Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts.
7. Assisting with the annual audits.

What you'll need to succeed

1. Proven experience in a similar role is essential.
2. AAT or working towards a qualification is desirable.
3. Able to demonstrate a clear understanding of month end processes, planning and budgets.
4. Able to work independently.
