Safety Engineering Opportunities in Derby, Full Time, On-site
We have an exciting opportunity for specialists with nuclear safety engineering experience or those interested in training in this area to contribute to powering submarines today and developing future solutions. Our team of over 100 nuclear safety professionals is expected to double in the next 4-5 years as we expand into new nuclear applications such as space, Micro Reactors, nuclear propulsion for the Australian Navy, and collaborations with the MoD on nuclear defense solutions.

We value agility, boldness, collaboration, and simplicity. We seek safety engineers at various experience levels, from new graduates eager to learn to seasoned specialists capable of leadership. Relevant capabilities include probabilistic safety assessment, nuclear safety case, human factors, safety & reliability, safety coherency, containment and consequence, and criticality. Experience from industries such as civil nuclear, oil & gas, chemical processing, or rail is also valued. A degree in engineering or scientific discipline is preferred.
