Account Manager
Location: Glasgow Airport
Contract: Permanent, Full Time, 4 days on, 2 days off shift pattern

Job Purpose
In line with the Fragrance & Beauty vision and mission, the Account Manager will lead an energetic and passionate team dedicated to creating experiences with clients. They will oversee retail activities that contribute to the brand’s image and market leadership, liaising with field and head office teams. The role includes managing the daily operations of the counter and coaching the team.
Key Responsibilities
Leading the team:The Account Manager guides their team towards achieving results and developing individual talents. They will create an environment of ethics, integrity, and diversity, fostering positive collaboration.
- Identify, address, and manage employee relations issues with support from the Retail Development Manager, following company policies.
- Facilitate regular team and individual communications to ensure shared knowledge.
- Share the brand vision and business challenges, empower the team, and hold them accountable.
Business development:The Account Manager embodies an entrepreneurial spirit. They are responsible for expanding CHANEL’s client base through data collection, developing initiatives aligned with the brand strategy, managing staff rotas, and ensuring optimal floor coverage and client experience.
- Communicate stock needs and provide feedback to influence strategies.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the business environment.
Experience creation:Create conditions for memorable customer experiences. Lead by example on the sales floor, build long-term client relationships, and embrace omni-channel and digital shopping trends.
- Address client complaints holistically to ensure satisfaction.
- Equip the team with tools and training to deliver the CHANEL experience.
- Ensure visual merchandising standards and cleanliness of the counter.
Brand Ambassador:The Account Manager embodies brand values. They should have a solid knowledge of CHANEL’s heritage and share it with clients and the team.
