Edward Mann is recruiting on behalf of a high-growth business in the Staffordshire area. Our client is hiring a Business and Finance Systems Analyst to join their team.

This position will optimize the four different systems used by the business, focusing on how they can integrate more effectively and develop efficiency drivers to enhance operational performance.

Responsibilities include:

1. Create process maps for all key MI systems - CRM, Operations Management system, Finance and Purchasing system, and Project Management system
2. Collaborate with the Management team to identify business needs and recommend solutions
3. Identify process weaknesses and develop data-driven solutions for improvement
4. Enhance the efficiency of key business report outputs
5. Bridge the gap between business needs and technological solutions
6. Work independently and collaboratively with the Finance Reporting Analyst and IT team to improve reporting outputs
7. Provide cover for the Finance Reporting Analyst during holidays and absences

We’re looking for a candidate who has:

• Experience in process mapping, project support, and process improvement, with programming skills in Python, SQL, or Macros (Visual Basic)
• Advanced skills in Excel and Access, including macros
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Some exposure to or understanding of accounting principles to comprehend relevant inputs and outputs
