Base pay range

Edward Mann is recruiting on behalf of a high-growth business in the Staffordshire area. Our client is seeking a Business and Finance Systems Analyst to join their team.

This position will optimize the four different systems used by the business, focusing on integration and developing efficiency drivers to enhance operational performance.

Responsibilities include:

• Create process maps for key MI systems: CRM, Operations Management, Finance and Purchasing, and Project Management systems.
• Collaborate with management to identify business needs and recommend solutions.
• Identify process weaknesses and develop data-driven solutions for improvement.
• Enhance the efficiency of key business reports output.
• Bridge the gap between business needs and technological solutions.
• Work independently and with teams, including the Finance Reporting Analyst and IT, to improve reporting outputs.
• Provide cover for the Finance Reporting Analyst during holidays and absences.

Candidate requirements:

• Experience in process mapping, project support, and process improvement.
• Programming skills in Python, SQL, or VBA (Visual Basic for Applications).
• Advanced skills in Excel and Access, including macros.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Some exposure to or understanding of accounting principles is preferred.
