Arcus Solutions is seeking a Shutters & Gates Engineer for a traineeship within their Mobile Delivery Team. This role involves a 12-month training program, focusing on essential skills for S&G maintenance and repair. We're excited to open up a new development opportunity for a Shutters & Gates Engineer within our Mobile Delivery Team - as part of our new Develop initiative. This traineeship role is a perfect fit for those who want to add to their skillset and progress into a S&G role.
What You'll Be Doing:
Initially, you will be enrolled on a 12-month programme which will provide training on several key elements within S&G. Through a mixture of on-the-job, practical and theoretical learning, you will develop the essential skills required to be a safe, productive and successful S&G Engineer.
Please note that the majority of the learning will take place at the National Training Centre in Stevenage, therefore regular travel into Stevenage (including occasional overnight stays) will be required of the successful colleagues.
Following the learning period, your final assessment/portfolio will be scored by your mentor/technical trainer - who will then determine whether or not you have passed the course.
Once you have passed, will be integrated as a key member of the S&G team in your area, you'll be responsible for carrying out planned auto door and industrial door maintenance tasks across a defined portfolio of sites. You'll ensure all activities are performed safely, efficiently, and in line with our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
