Key Responsibilities:

1. Utilise project tools to define project scope, plans, risks, actions, and tasks to ensure timely and complete project delivery.
2. Take ownership of the work plan, monitor schedule and budget, manage risks with contingency plans, handle scope change requests, and manage milestones.
3. Manage issues and complex tasks, including client expectations and escalations.
4. Serve as the main client contact, facilitate communication, document project progress, and build trusting relationships.
5. Mentor colleagues in leadership, methodology, tools, and interpersonal skills.
6. Improve project management processes to enhance delivery and customer service, collaborating with the technical services team to solve issues and prioritize continuous improvement.
7. Provide training and performance evaluations for other project managers, including feedback and reviews.
8. Understand the business impact of each project, making decisions that benefit the organization, even challenging senior stakeholders when necessary.
9. Collaborate with business development and proposals teams to develop new client proposals and attract new business.
10. Work with technical management to provide strategic direction, improve efficiency, grow the Morpeth site, and serve patients.

Qualifications

Essential: Degree in a scientific discipline preferred.

Relevant Experience: Business acumen, project management experience or qualification, pharmaceutical industry experience.
