Job description

We are currently seeking a Lead Mechanical Building Maintenance Engineer to oversee and carry out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems within our client's site. This is a hands-on role with supervisory responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform planned preventative and reactive mechanical maintenance
2. Diagnose and repair mechanical faults in HVAC systems, pumps, valves, and pipework
3. Lead a small team of engineers and coordinate daily tasks
4. Ensure all work is carried out to company and industry standards
5. Liaise with clients and site managers to ensure service excellence

Requirements

1. NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical Engineering or similar
2. Proven experience in building services/mechanical maintenance
3. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and mechanical plant
