JOB TITLE:Pricing Manager - Business Transaction Banking

SALARY:£76,000 - £93,000

LOCATIONS:Birmingham / Bristol / Edinburgh / Glasgow / Leeds / Manchester

HOURS:Full-Time

WORKING PATTERN:Our work style is hybrid, involving at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.

About This Opportunity

We have a fantastic new opportunity in the Pricing & Forecasting Team within our Business Transaction Banking (BTB), part of the wider Business & Commercial Banking (BCB) business unit. This team handles pricing and forecasting for current accounts, savings, client money & term and notice products supporting customers with their banking needs. This contributes to growing our business through coordinated client propositions managing billions of pounds in deposits across Business Banking to Mid-Corporates.

The team is responsible for shaping strategy, pricing approach, and balance sheet forecasts & NIM guidance at sector, segment, and divisional levels.

Reporting to the Director of Deposit Pricing, the Pricing Manager's responsibilities include:

  • Developing and updating commercial revenue forecasts across the BTB portfolio within the financial calendar, collaborating with SMEs from wider product teams as needed.
  • Enhancing forecasting and value analysis by client, segment, and sector based on historical data.
  • Improving analytics and supporting data sets for effective pricing and forecasting decisions.
  • Assessing the impact and benefits of tactical and strategic initiatives supporting budget and forecast assumptions.

Key Accountabilities

  • Contributing to strategic change and optimization within a dynamic organization.
  • Managing regular business updates and executing the agreed strategy.
  • Improving customer and colleague satisfaction through performance metrics like balance actuals to forecast, NIM actuals, and value creation.
  • Managing balances to meet BCB balance sheet requirements.
  • Enhancing the pricing experience through analysis and tools, measured by client 360 at the product level.
  • Ensuring processes align with Group risk appetite.
  • Collaborating with multiple partners within BCB to foster a 'One Team' environment.
  • Building a mentoring culture within the team.
  • Presenting management information to senior management and recommending actions.
  • Upholding Lloyds Banking Group values as part of the team.
  • Managing supplier relationships with internal and external partners, balancing commercial and risk objectives.
  • Maintaining feedback loops and training to stay updated on market trends and customer needs.
  • Driving diversity, inclusion, talent development, and performance management initiatives.

What You'll Need

  • Proven delivery in banking services, focusing on meeting targets and objectives, including investment projects.
  • Strategic thinking and continuous business improvement skills.
  • Ability to interpret financial and non-financial data and implement controls and measures.
  • Deep knowledge of pricing, customer behavior, and operational processes for compliance and market competitiveness.
  • Experience in delivering large-scale change that benefits customers and the organization.
  • Strong customer relationship leadership to translate business needs into effective product delivery.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to consider broader team needs.
  • Influencing skills at all organizational levels, including senior leadership, with effective communication capabilities.
