SALARY: £76,000 - £93,000

LOCATIONS: Birmingham / Bristol / Edinburgh / Glasgow / Leeds / Manchester

HOURS: Full-Time

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, involving at least two days per week or 40% of our time at one of our office sites.

About This Opportunity

We have a fantastic new opportunity in the Pricing & Forecasting Team within our Business Transaction Banking (BTB), part of the wider Business & Commercial Banking (BCB) unit. This team handles pricing and forecasting for current accounts, savings, client money, & notice products, supporting customers with their daily banking needs and growing our business through coordinated client propositions managing billions of pounds in deposits across various customer segments.

The team is responsible for shaping strategy, pricing approach, and balance sheet forecast & NIM guidance at sector, segment, and divisional levels.

Reporting to the Director of Deposit Pricing, the Pricing Manager's responsibilities include:

  1. Developing and updating commercial revenue forecasts across BTB portfolio, collaborating with SMEs from wider product teams.
  2. Enhancing forecasting and value analysis by client, segment, and sector based on historical data.
  3. Improving analytics and data sets supporting pricing and forecasting decisions.
  4. Assessing the impact of tactical and strategic initiatives on budgets and forecasts.
Key Accountabilities
  • Contributing to strategic change and optimization within the organization.
  • Managing regular business updates and executing strategic plans.
  • Enhancing customer and colleague satisfaction through performance improvements.
  • Managing balances to meet BCB balance sheet requirements.
  • Improving the pricing experience through analytics and tools.
  • Ensuring processes align with risk appetite.
  • Collaborating effectively with partners to foster a 'One Team' environment.
  • Building a mentoring culture within the team.
  • Analyzing and presenting management information to senior leadership, recommending actions.
  • Upholding LBG values as part of the team.
  • Managing supplier relationships with a focus on control and supervision.
  • Maintaining feedback loops and training on market and customer trends.
  • Promoting diversity, inclusion, talent, and performance management.
What You'll Need
  • Proven track record in banking services, meeting targets and objectives, including investment projects.
  • Strategic and operational improvement skills.
  • Ability to interpret financial and non-financial data and implement controls.
  • Deep understanding of pricing, customer behavior, and operational processes.
  • Experience in delivering large-scale change within complex organizations.
  • Customer relationship management skills.
  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills, capable of engaging with senior leadership.
