Role: Senior Commercial Finance Manager

Location: Blackburn, BB1 2FA - Office Based (location subject to change due to planned office relocation)

Contract: Full-Time / Permanent

Salary: £57,475 - £67,925 Dependent on Experience & Discretionary Bonus Scheme

This is an office-based role, five days a week.

About the Role:

We have an exciting upcoming opportunity in the finance department for a motivated individual seeking career development. You will provide commercial insights to the Management team, partner with the business to optimize and challenge financial performance, support commercial initiatives, and report on them.

The successful candidate will monitor and forecast KPIs, analyze key information, and report variances proactively. Strong analytical skills and effective communication with stakeholders at all levels are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare weekly trading reports, dashboards, and CEO updates.
2. Create monthly trading performance presentations.
3. Identify key trends and drivers of results.
4. Collaborate with the management accounts team to understand performance metrics.
5. Review P&L cost items regularly to understand cost bases and trends.
6. Partner with stakeholders to improve reporting impact and efficiency, leveraging SAP analytics and reducing manual data manipulation.
7. Work with the Country Manager to optimize performance, control costs, and enhance profitability.
8. Support decision-making with relevant information and analysis.
9. Lead and manage the annual budget process.
10. Manage direct reports, including role development.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Qualified Accountant.
2. Efficient and able to meet tight deadlines.
3. Excellent communication skills.
4. Proficient in Excel and/or SAP.
5. Strong commercial and analytical acumen.
6. Ability to establish frameworks and processes.
7. Adaptable, multi-tasker, self-motivated, and able to lead a high-performance team.
8. Confident in presenting and challenging senior stakeholders.
9. Multi-site experience in hospitality or retail (desirable).
