A Day in the Life of a Mental Health Pharmacist:

Join our team as a Mental Health Pharmacist and make a real difference in the lives of patients on mental health wards. Your core responsibilities include:

1. Providing clinical pharmacy support for mental health wards.
2. Conducting medicines reconciliation and drug chart screening.
3. Offering medication advice and support to patients on the wards.
4. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team to optimize medication use for mental health patients.
5. Supporting pharmacy technicians and ATO staff with medication reviews and checking duties.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• GPhC registration as a Pharmacist.
• Previous hospital ward experience required (mental health experience is not essential).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• A passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role offers a flexible working schedule from Monday to Friday (9am - 5:30pm). The contract duration is a minimum of 6 months, with potential for extension based on performance and service needs.
