Nuclear Material Control Technician
Location: RG7 4PR, between Reading and Basingstoke, with free onsite parking.
Package: £27,825 - £33,000 (depending on your suitability, qualifications, and experience)
Working pattern: AWE operates a 9-day working fortnight. We consider flexible working requests—just let us know your preferred pattern on your application.
Role Introduction
AWE is recruiting for a Nuclear Material Control Technician in our Nuclear Materials Control team, within the Operations function.
As a Nuclear Material Control Technician, you will ensure all processing, movements, and storage of Nuclear Materials comply with procedures. You will assist the Accountable Nuclear Materials Inventory Holder in duties as per the Nuclear Material Accountancy & Control manual.
You will uphold high standards in environment, safety, health, security, and quality. Your responsibilities include operating Nuclear Materials accountancy systems, assisting with key report production, and being prepared for shift work if required.
