Our client, a leading entity in the Aerospace sector, is currently seeking an Engineering Lecturer to join our team on a contract basis.

Role involves delivering high-quality teaching and mentoring to apprentices in Mechanical, Electrical, and Aero and Aviation Engineering. The candidate should inspire apprentices through creative lesson plans that meet world-class standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach on Advanced Manufacturing and Aerospace programmes, aligning with Apprenticeship standards and innovative teaching methods.
• Contribute to curriculum planning, monitoring, and evaluation to promote a positive learning culture.
• Prepare and mark assessments, providing meaningful feedback for apprentices' development.
• Embed maths and English delivery within the curriculum.
• Produce reports on apprentice progress, with proactive data monitoring and analysis.
• Participate in apprentice interviews, enrolment, induction, open days, and enrichment activities.
• Develop an inclusive blended learning approach using CANVAS platform.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge through continuous professional development (CPD).
• Develop and update teaching resources, including Schemes of Work and Lesson Plans.
• Contribute to the overall high-quality learning experience.
• Participate in quality assurance aligned with awarding body requirements.
• Ensure safeguarding of apprentices and team members.

Job Requirements:

• A teaching qualification is mandatory, with experience in developing blended learning resources and delivering on Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) platforms.
• Experience delivering Aero, Aviation, or Advanced Manufacturing Engineering programmes up to Level 4.
• Ability to work collaboratively to develop and share innovative teaching resources.
• Recent experience in teaching and mentoring.
