Illuminet is supporting an exciting PropTech start-up based in Brighton, seeking their first technical lead who can be hands-on and potentially move into a C-level or board position in the future. This start-up harnesses AI, automation, and analytics to streamline multiple segments of the property market, leveraging an established network to help the founders develop their product offering.

Your Mission

1. Architect & Ship: Own the full technical roadmap—design, build, and deploy our core product suite.
2. Lead the Team: Manage a small, high-performing group of developers, fostering a culture of fast experimentation.
3. Demos: Produce compelling demos and proofs-of-concept that we can pitch to prospective clients.

What You Bring

1. 6+ years in software/product development, ideally with at least one start-up journey from concept to market.
2. Expert command of Python and modern automation/RPA tools (UiPath, Blue Prism, etc.).
3. Full-stack credentials: AppFlows, MERN, or Django back-end plus React front-end.
4. Hands-on experience building and integrating robust APIs.
5. Proven ability to translate product vision into actionable roadmaps and guide customer journeys.
6. Track record of leading small, cross-functional engineering teams.
