NHS Scotland is seeking Specialist Pharmacists for full-time/part-time roles in Aberdeenshire. The successful candidates will join Pharmacotherapy teams, focusing on medicines management and supporting local GP practices. This role offers opportunities for professional development, including Independent Prescriber training.

Full Time/Part Time Opportunities (minimum 3 days), Monday – Friday
We have an exciting opportunity for registered Pharmacists to join Pharmacotherapy teams working across Aberdeenshire. The post holders will be part of a team of Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians, playing a key role in providing Pharmacotherapy services and promoting quality, cost-effective prescribing of medicines.
The post holders will support GP practices and community hospitals, covering all aspects of medicines management in line with local and national guidelines.
You may have a community or hospital pharmacy background. Good communication, interpersonal, and time management skills are essential. Experience in primary care, medicines management, and audit would be advantageous.
Independent Prescriber training will be supported if not already achieved.
Postholders will work across a wide area, involving onsite work in GP practices and remote work from an agreed base. The specific bases and areas of work will be discussed at interview. A full driving license is essential.
