Job Description:

Are you a skilled Oracle Project Manager with a passion for driving impactful business and technology change projects? Here at Legal & General, we are seeking three talented individuals to join our Group HR team on a 12-month secondment. In these roles, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the successful completion of key projects across the Group by developing and implementing effective project management strategies. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and have a proven track record in project management, we want to hear from you!

What you'll be doing:

  1. Contributing to the end-to-end delivery of all programmes and projects in the Group HR portfolio by developing and applying project management methodologies.
  2. Setting up projects, workstreams, and project phases to succeed in terms of scope, design, operating models, resourcing, project and roadmap planning, engagement models, and RAID identification and mitigation.
  3. Reviewing key project deliverables to ensure quality, fit for purpose, and alignment to strategy, business case, and benefits delivery.
  4. Preparing, agreeing, monitoring, and controlling project budgets, and supporting annual and other budgeting processes as required.
  5. Collaborating with business stakeholders, change, and IT professionals across Group HR to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high quality.
  6. Applying and developing relevant methodologies to understand and improve project management processes in Group HR.
  7. Managing internal business SMEs, and permanent and contract project teams in a matrix environment.
  8. Ensuring all activities consider treating customers fairly.

Who we're looking for:

  1. Knowledge of PRINCE2, Agile, and other formal Project & Programme Management qualifications.
  2. Proven track record of Project & Programme Management and the design and delivery of complex business, organizational, and technology transformation programmes.
  3. Understanding of IT configurations and the introduction of technologies into the business world.
  4. Strong understanding of IT configurations, with Oracle experience being desirable.
  5. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to work independently.
  6. Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess service delivery, data, and change management results.
  7. Experience owning & leading change communications/engagement.
  8. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
