PAY & HOURS

Our Shop Manager roles offer a competitive salary of £30,000 to £34,000 depending on experience. For part-time Shop Managers, the salary will be prorated.

A full-time working week is 42 hours, but we are open to flexible working hours, such as 9:00 am - 3:00 pm, to accommodate your needs.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • An experienced retail manager to oversee daily shop operations.
  • A leader who can drive sales, control costs, and ensure smooth shop running.
  • Someone capable of leading, training, and motivating a team with a hands-on approach.
  • A confident, enthusiastic individual with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  • An adaptable team player comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing the day-to-day operations of your shop.
  • Growing the business by increasing sales and controlling costs to deliver profit.
  • Working towards KPIs such as wage percentage, average sale, stock, wastage, and energy targets.
  • Training and developing your team to high standards.
  • Performance management of team members.
  • Maintaining high standards in sandwich and food production.
  • Ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming shop environment.
  • Upholding hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards.
  • Delivering excellent customer service.
  • Recruiting new team members as needed.
  • Managing deliveries and stock control.
  • Maintaining shop displays and product knowledge.
  • Handling cash, operating tills, and banking.
  • Opening and closing the shop as required.
