HR Documentation and Communications Specialist

  • 6-month FTC with potential extension
  • Salary: £80,000 - £100,000
  • Location: London, United Kingdom
  • Hybrid working: 2-3 days in the office, 2-3 days remote

Oakleaf Partnership is representing a global insurance organization seeking an interim HR Documentation and Communications Specialist. The role involves developing and updating HR documents, policies, and procedures to meet regulatory and compliance standards. You will deliver HR documentation, review processes involving people engagement, and ensure they are efficient, engaging, and technologically supported, enhancing the employee experience. This is a great opportunity to impact the company's HR transformation.

Role Responsibilities

Within the HR Transformation team, you will:

  • Review and refine contracts, letters, HR documents, and employee communications for consistency and alignment across the Group, including localizations where needed.
  • Support the delivery of HR Operations Strategic Objectives.
  • Collaborate with Global HR Policy and Compliance teams to draft, review, and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
  • Develop and manage HR communications regarding initiatives, policy changes, and organizational updates, ensuring clear and effective dissemination.
  • Contribute to HR Continuous Improvement by creating training programs on HR policies, compliance, and best practices for managers and staff.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in HR policy, documentation, and communications within a large, global, matrixed financial services organization.
  • Extensive experience in policy drafting and internal communications.
  • Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and ability to influence across different business areas and management levels.
