Client Relationship Coordinator – Mercer Marsh Benefits (MMB) - Manchester, Edinburgh or Bristol

As a Client Relationship Coordinator in our Pension Retention team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a portfolio containing a significant number of clients.

You will be the main point of contact regarding Mercer services, maintaining relationships with clients and coordinating services from specialists within the business.

This is a hybrid role requiring at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:

  • Learn the basics of the Pension provider products, services, and tools within Mercer Elect, including participating in training courses, online learning, or learning from experienced colleagues.
  • Take ownership of a portfolio of Pension clients aligned with the Mercer Elect proposition.
  • Guide clients through the entire sales process, from onboarding and implementation to handling ad hoc employer queries.
  • Engage proactively with your clients, conduct annual renewal calls, and facilitate mid-year review meetings.
  • Generate leads for other parts of the business within your existing client bank and pass these to relevant teams.
  • Assist the consulting team in gathering, organizing, entering, and analyzing data for client projects.
  • Follow up with clients regarding missing or inaccurate information and annual updates.
  • Ensure all client files contain the most recent correspondence and information.

  • Previous experience in client relationship management
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
  • Strong attention to detail and visual accuracy
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, confident in liaising face-to-face and via Zoom
  • A logical approach to work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Enthusiastic, motivated, and committed to high-quality client service
