Position: Group Facilitator
Location: Swindon
Salary: £25,000-£27,000
pro rata, dependent on experience
Hours: 28 hours per week (flexibility required)
Term: Fixed term till March 2026
Pension: Auto Enrolment pension with a 6% employer contribution
About the Role: As a Group Facilitator, you will offer brief interventions and targeted programmes to women who have experienced domestic abuse, substance use, and poor mental health. You will deliver one-to-one support and group work sessions across Wiltshire, ensuring broad accessibility and allowing new clients to join at any stage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Increase the safety of women and improve life outcomes for them and their families.
- Provide practical and emotional support to address critical needs.
- Break down barriers to accessing support and reduce the risk of entering the Criminal Justice System.
- Deliver group programmes such as Pattern Changing, Beyond Anger and Violence, and Healing from Trauma.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in working with women with complex needs.
- Ability to develop and deliver group programmes in emotional health, wellbeing, and relationships.
- Awareness of trauma-informed approaches and gender-specific issues.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
