Job description

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

Reporting directly to the Head of HR, Cartier UK, the Senior HR BP acts as a strategic partner to support the overall people strategy to enable business effectiveness and achievement.

This role plays a critical part in driving business success through effective people strategies, talent management, organization design, and culture development. The Senior HR BP partners closely with people leaders and managers to influence and support change, ensure strong employee engagement, and maintain compliance with company policies and employment law. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with strong people analytics skills, the ability to propose different solutions through effective partnership with stakeholders, and comfort operating in a hands-on manner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Work closely with the Head of HR to develop and implement an employee-centric HR strategy that aligns with business goals and shapes strategic decisions from a people perspective, facilitating the execution of overall business and people strategies.
  2. Support business transformation efforts, including organization design, workforce planning, and cultural evolution, to ensure the company remains a collaborative and inclusive community while delivering optimal performance.
  3. Lead or support change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption and integration of organizational changes.
  4. Partner with leaders and managers to develop leadership capabilities and succession pipelines through coaching and targeted development plans.
  5. Drive comprehensive talent processes, including talent reviews, performance management, career development, and succession planning.
  6. Leverage HR data to provide insights on workforce trends and propose solutions or alternatives.
  7. Collaborate with other HRBPs within the UK business on projects related to employee relations, talent development, and L&D.
  8. Work with the UK Employment Legal team to ensure HR policies are relevant, aligned with business needs, and compliant with local employment legislation; support audits and risk mitigation efforts.
  9. Contribute to Cartier and Richemont HR projects such as engagement strategies, DEI initiatives, university partnerships, and continuous improvement efforts.
  10. Compile, develop, and present monthly HR reports and metrics to monitor HR activities, identify trends, and address concerns.

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?

  1. Extensive experience in senior HR roles (e.g., HR Manager, HR Business Partner).
  2. Proven ability to deliver people strategies aligned with business needs.
  3. Successful track record in talent development and employee engagement initiatives.
  4. Strong knowledge of performance review processes, talent assessments, and development tools.
  5. Ability to analyze people data and provide insights for decision-making.
  6. Excellent stakeholder management and partnership skills.
  7. Strong presentation and communication skills.
  8. Experience working in multicultural environments.
  9. Solid understanding of UK employment law.
  10. Proficiency in MS Office, internal HR data systems (SAP/Visier), and assessment tools (PI, 360, EQ).
  11. Full professional proficiency in English (spoken and written).
  12. CIPD Level 5 diploma and BA degree preferred.
  13. Experience with Workday is a plus.
