Job description

Protection & Private Healthcare Consultant

PIB Employee Benefits consultants support organisations across all areas of financial and non-financial rewards, including healthcare, corporate pensions, risk, employee benefit communications, and employee benefits technology.

This role requires travel and client visits on a weekly basis.

Responsibilities:
  1. Generate new business income through client acquisition, primarily from leads provided by the company but also from self-generated opportunities.
  2. Ensure customer satisfaction, measured by internal surveys and external measures like Investors in Customers.
  3. Manage relationships with the company's lead generation, customer service teams, and account management personnel within insurers and providers.
  4. Negotiate premiums with insurers to secure value outcomes aligned with customer requirements.
Experience:
  1. Experience within the Financial Services market is essential, with Protection experience required.
  2. Proven success in converting potential customer inquiries.
  3. Experience building relationships with insurers, providers, clients, and account managers.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
  5. Minimum Cert CII or willingness to study towards this qualification.
  6. Knowledge of Financial Services, regulation, and ethics.
  7. Proven negotiation skills to meet targets on behalf of customers.
  8. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  9. Organized and capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines.
  10. Ability to work well in a team and independently.
  11. Adaptability to change within the business and market environments.
