Protection & Private Healthcare Consultant
PIB Employee Benefits consultants support organisations across all areas of financial and non-financial rewards, including healthcare, corporate pensions, risk, employee benefit communications, and employee benefits technology.
This role requires travel and client visits on a weekly basis.
Responsibilities:
- Generate new business income through client acquisition, primarily from leads provided by the company but also from self-generated opportunities.
- Ensure customer satisfaction, measured by internal surveys and external measures like Investors in Customers.
- Manage relationships with the company's lead generation, customer service teams, and account management personnel within insurers and providers.
- Negotiate premiums with insurers to secure value outcomes aligned with customer requirements.
Experience:
- Experience within the Financial Services market is essential, with Protection experience required.
- Proven success in converting potential customer inquiries.
- Experience building relationships with insurers, providers, clients, and account managers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Minimum Cert CII or willingness to study towards this qualification.
- Knowledge of Financial Services, regulation, and ethics.
- Proven negotiation skills to meet targets on behalf of customers.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Organized and capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.
- Adaptability to change within the business and market environments.
