A leading leisure-first business in the UK seeks a Director of Commercial to oversee strategic growth and brand development. This role involves managing partnerships, leading hiring efforts, and ensuring operational excellence across venues. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in sales and marketing, along with leadership capabilities.
Location: Hybrid working, travel to Head office 3/4 times a week : Must live North of Birmingham
We are currently working with a great leisure-first business that provides hospitality and leisure venues across the UK with strong food concepts attached. They offer a fantastic leisure experience in the UK, and with the UK tourist business booming, this company is in a strong growth position. They are looking for a new Commercial Director, who will focus on ROI across the portfolio, risk management, finding new commercial opportunities, working with sponsors and partnerships. The role requires a strong sales and marketing background, leadership, and coaching skills.
This role reports directly to the CEO, focusing on developing the brand and collaborating with partners. The Director will lead hiring during this growth phase, manage onsite and offsite promotions, oversee marketing calendars, and manage partnerships and concept launches. The founding executive team will include the CEO, CFO, and yourself, responsible for strategy and growth.
