The successful candidates will operate within a hybrid-role model, combining traditional pharmacist duties with non-medical prescribing, with each aspect allocated 0.5 WTE.

Please note: this is a cross-site post; successful candidates will be expected to work across Royal Derby Hospital and Queens Burton Hospital as required.

Responsibilities Will Include

  12. Providing chemotherapy checking competency training to junior colleagues.
  13. Engaging in teaching within the multidisciplinary team.
  14. Supporting the Divisional Lead Pharmacist in shaping team direction aligned with divisional objectives.

  • Advising and counseling on medication use.
  • Managing toxicities and providing holistic support.
  • Attending MDTs related to the chosen specialty.
