Your new firm
This long-standing client is seeking a Solicitor/Legal Executive NQ-2PQE to join their Clinical Negligence team in Bristol. You will consistently deliver a high standard of legal advice to clients in an commercially astute manner and always deliver outstanding client service. You will also be required to assist with the marketing of the department’s services and undertake business development activities to enhance the firm and team’s reputation for excellence.

Your new role
You will be:

1. Assisting on birth injury matters and the quantum elements of them.
2. Dealing directly with clients to take instructions and ensure full understanding to meet client expectations.
3. Working closely with partners and senior lawyers to develop client relationship skills.
4. Building effective working relationships within the team.
5. Managing time recording, WIP monitoring, and billing consistently on your own and others’ files and matters.
6. Working toward personal and team KPIs, measuring performance against these.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a Solicitor or Legal Executive with NQ - 2 PQE experience. If you are an NQ, you will have completed a seat in clinical negligence during your training contract. Previous experience in high-value birth injury, other high-value clinical negligence, or high-value personal injury matters is required. You should be a strong team player with a collaborative attitude and excellent interpersonal skills.
