As the Clinical Governance Lead at Wessex Hospital, you will provide strong clinical leadership and oversight of all clinical care quality matters. You will collaborate with Senior Clinical Leaders and stakeholders to promote clinical excellence and fulfill Nuffield Health’s charitable purpose.

Requirements include being a registered Clinician (NMC, HCPC, or GPC) with a degree/postgraduate qualification in a clinical discipline, and possessing relevant qualifications in organizational governance (e.g., ISO9001 Auditor). Significant experience in clinical governance and quality assurance, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and proactive work ethic are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Champion the organisation’s values.
• Drive continuous improvement in data quality, analysis, reporting, and escalation processes to support quality learning and decision-making.
• Lead quality assurance activities, including clinical effectiveness, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and professional development.
• Manage clinical policies and SOPs, ensuring effective governance.
• Advise on governance processes, including handling complaints.
• Support maintenance of clinical and organizational accreditations, e.g., ISO9001.
• Lead clinical projects to achieve quality improvement plans.
• Contribute to strategic negotiations related to clinical governance and quality assurance to support organizational objectives.
