An established industry player is seeking a System Design & Verification Engineer to join their dynamic Sea Viper team. This role offers the chance to work on cutting-edge weapon systems for the Royal Navy, engaging in a blend of on-site and remote work. Sea Viper is currently going through its next phase of life with major upgrades proposed to be rolled out over the coming years. In support of this, a key role has arisen within the Sea Viper system design team for a System Design & Verification Engineer, to support the delivery of the next phases of the programmes.
Salary: Up to £57,000 Depending on Experience

Hybrid working pattern: Where possible, we will seek to accommodate a blended approach to on-site and remote working; typically 2 to 3 days per week on site.
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
The Opportunity:
The role would be reporting to the technical lead for the project. This is a high profile programme within MBDA and MOD, and as part of the team there are opportunities for engagement with senior partners in delivering the role. The programme is progressing through the D&M phase, beginning sub-system qualification to provide a brand-new capability.
