Job description

As a leading partner of SAP, IBM, and Oracle, Prometheus Group has been providing out-of-the-box software solutions to asset-intensive organizations for over 25 years, supporting key aspects of the asset lifecycle such as Maintenance, Operations, and Health & Safety. Prometheus Group develops software solutions to aid daily operations for clients across the Oil and Gas, Energy, and Manufacturing industries on a global scale.

Implementation Specialists work closely with functional consultants and project managers to implement our software and configure systems according to customer requirements. You will learn about clients' current business processes, issues, and challenges, and help improve these processes by leveraging Prometheus products.

Responsibilities

1. Coordinate with project managers to review project plans for software installation.
2. Configure systems to help achieve customer goals.
3. Troubleshoot, analyze, and document customer issues.
4. Communicate with clients throughout the software delivery and customization process to gather feedback and obtain approval.
5. Assist in customer environment upgrades.
6. Translate professional services requests into technical implementation steps.
7. Educate clients on how to use purchased software systems.
8. Collaborate across departments to ensure comprehensive understanding of Prometheus products from a configuration perspective.

Skills and Experience

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, management information systems, or a related field.
2. Basic knowledge of programming concepts such as variables, functions, arguments, and scope.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Ability to multitask effectively.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
7. Exceptional communication and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with work ticketing systems such as TeamSupport, ServiceNow, JIRA, Salesforce.
• Strong technical skills.
• Experience with software implementations and SaaS solutions.
• Experience in or with large manufacturing industries such as Oil & Gas, Chemicals, etc.
• Experience with Capital Projects/Completions Management software solutions is a plus.
