Senior Tax Advisor

Location: Surbiton (hybrid work from home model)

Join an expanding tax team within a fast-growing accountancy practice. The successful Senior Tax Advisor will efficiently handle self-assessments and confidently liaise with clients and HMRC.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage a portfolio of clients.
2. Liaise with clients and HMRC via post, email, and phone.
3. Handle IHT, CGT, and EMI for clients.
4. Responsible for billing clients.
5. Assist the Tax Manager as needed.
6. Manage workload and time efficiently.

Qualifications and Skills:

• At least 2 years' experience in an accountancy practice, preparing self-assessment tax returns.
• Good understanding of Word, Excel, Outlook, and tax software.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• CTA qualifications are beneficial but not mandatory; practical experience is valued more.
• Experience with IHT, CGT, and EMI is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary: £55,000 to £65,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
• Up to 15% annual bonus.
• Part-time or full-time role available.
