Job Description:

As a Senior Technical Consultant with GlideFast Consulting, you will develop, design, and own technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform. Responsibilities include providing administration, application development, maintenance, and technical support by utilizing best-practice web programming techniques to configure robust solutions for clients.

Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver high-quality consulting services to install, configure, and integrate ServiceNow products.
  2. Develop custom software solutions through scripting and software development.
  3. Prepare technical documentation as per customer contracts and internal requirements.
  4. Conduct value-based assessments and workshops to maximize business results from ServiceNow.
  5. Create custom business rules, client scripts, UI policies, ACLs, data policies, and UI scripts.
  6. Troubleshoot configuration and scripting issues.
  7. Participate in requirements review and validation sessions.
  8. Deliver measurable results within agreed timelines, ensuring positive customer feedback.
  9. Perform code reviews of peers.
  10. Support and mentor other Technical Consultants and support team leadership.
  11. Lead sessions on implementation best practices.
Required Skills/Experience:
  1. Experience as a developer on multiple ServiceNow projects, specifically CSM and/or SPM.
  2. At least 4+ years as a ServiceNow developer.
  3. Minimum 1+ year in a consulting role delivering software implementations.
  4. Experience with 3rd Party Integrations (REST, SOAP, MID Servers).
  5. Proficiency in web services (REST, SOAP), XML, and JSON.
  6. Knowledge of Operating Systems such as Linux and Windows.
  7. Understanding of networking concepts, including IP addressing, firewalls, and ports.
  8. Experience with relational databases like MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle.
  9. Familiarity with multiple application architectures and supporting technologies.
  10. Strong consultative skills to improve client processes and organizational models.
  11. Solid knowledge of ITIL foundations and IT Service Management.
Certifications/Education:
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (preferred)
