Great opportunity to work as a Facilities Coordinator for one of the largest providers of fresh flowers to major supermarket chains throughout the UK.

Staffline is recruiting for a Facilities Coordinator to work in Alconbury .

The rate of pay is:
£ per hour

This is a full-time role. The shift pattern will be:
4on 4off

The hours of work are:
7am to 7pm

There is a high chance of temp to perm for the right candidate!

Your Time at Work
This role plays a key part in maintaining a safe, secure, and cost-effective environment, supporting the ongoing success of the site.

As a Facilities Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:

- Ensuring the building and surrounding areas are looked after and in working order
- Maintaining the daily upkeep of the premises, and anticipating short term and long-term maintenance needs
- Overseeing both internal staff and external contractors to make sure all work carried out is of a high standard
- Ensuring full legislative compliance, including health and safety, fire safety, and environmental standards
- Planning and carrying out regular maintenance tasks
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
- Conducting regular audits, security checks, and Legionella risk assessments
- Managing site waste and recycling systems in compliance with regulations
- Overseeing onsite parking and maintaining vending machine operations
- Building strong relationships with external service providers to ensure the highest standards are maintained
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of maintenance activities for audit purposes
- Conduct regular security and vulnerability checks to maintain a safe and secure premises

Our Perfect Worker
The ideal candidate will have:

- Proven experience in facilities coordination or a similar role
- A strong understanding of health and safety regulations and building compliance
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing service contracts and liaising with external suppliers
- Confidence in making decisions and prioritising tasks under pressure
- Knowledge of Legionella risk management and waste handling
- Experience in conducting site security assessments
- Familiarity with cost control and budgeting
