Wood is currently recruiting for an HR Advisor to support the UK Operations team on a temporary basis for 11 months, with potential extension. If you seek a challenging and rewarding role in a dynamic and diverse environment, apply now. The position is preferably based in Aberdeen or Stockton, on a hybrid basis.

The HR Advisor will ensure a positive employee experience, managing queries effectively and providing advice, support, and guidance across the full HR spectrum. Responsibilities include handling recruitment, selection, employee motivation, training, and development throughout the employee lifecycle.

Responsibilities
  • Provide advice and support on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation, including performance management, capability, discipline, and grievance issues.
  • Serve as a focal point for stakeholders regarding employment conditions, salary, benefits, and employee relations.
  • Proactively manage complex employee relations issues.
  • Assist with redeployment and redundancy projects.
  • Conduct exit interviews.
  • Support HR projects and participate in the resourcing process by discussing requirements with line managers and conducting interviews for key roles.
  • Assist in career development discussions and recommend suitable candidates for promotion.
  • Support people development initiatives, providing guidance on development needs and performance interventions.
  • Investigate and resolve employee relations problems, advising management and employees as needed.
  • Analyze data sets to identify trends and issues.
  • Prepare supporting documentation for HR processes.
Qualifications
  • Degree in HR or business management is preferred.
