Full-time role with Ascendion

3 days onsite in Bromley/Chester

Who comes with strong development expertise in Java, Mule, Kafka, and Oracle DB, combined with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) experience. The ideal candidate will lead by example—driving platform stability, building resilient systems, and resolving complex technical issues. Experience in payments systems is a strong plus.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in Java development at a managerial level
• Deep understanding of SRE principles and platform reliability
• Hands-on with Kafka, MuleSoft, Spring, and Oracle DB
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience in the payments domain is a plus
