GBP35,000 - GBP45,000 + Training + Progression + Benefits

Great opportunity to join an industry-leading company based near Dawlish, Devon.

You will be joining a small, high-performing design team working on a variety of projects within the furniture industry.

The Role

1. Designing products that are highly commercial and designed for volume sales, typically upholstered beds, cabinets, and chairs.
2. Creating final visuals for both in-house and customer presentations.
3. Design and development through sketching, CAD modelling, and rendering.
4. Travel to customer sites: the biggest client is in High Wycombe; travel is approximately once per quarter, and the team travels together.
5. Hold product presentations online, as many customers are located up north.
6. Maintain clear and precise communication via emails, Teams, etc., between factories, colleagues, and customers.

The Person

1. High level of creativity and visual communication skills.
2. BSc in Product Design or similar qualification.
3. Proficiency in 2D and 3D SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
4. Some knowledge of manufacturing processes.
5. Attention to detail and meticulous working practices.
6. Knowledge of Photoshop is a plus.
