Within the regional Commercial team, this essential role involves supporting project planning and scheduling, procurement, cost planning, supplier selection & commissioning, client-facing activities, and cost control management reporting. You should have a strong working knowledge of the housebuilding industry and be involved in multiple projects at various stages of pre-construction and construction.
You will handle procurement of relevant housebuilding materials and plant packages in line with regional timelines and build programmes, supporting setup and daily activities at each site. Experience in schedule/programme management and liaising with supply chains to understand material lead times and availability is essential.
Ideally, you will be educated to a minimum of NVQ Level 3.
This role requires collaboration, as you'll work closely with management teams and manage multiple activities/projects simultaneously, engaging with internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating strong influencing and negotiation skills, and building long-term relationships.
