We are also very proud of our Business Clinic that has been established to provide students with the opportunity to undertake a live business consultancy project with an external host organisation. Our Business Clinic works with businesses and organisations from across the Liverpool City Region.

We are seeking to appoint a passionate academic to contribute to the teaching and learning in the area of Events Management, Tourism and Sport Business as maternity cover (part-time and job-share will be considered).

Applications for Lecturer or Teaching Fellow will be considered, as a full-time role or job share.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a strong commitment to ensuring an outstanding student experience.
  • Develop and deliver innovative teaching in areas of Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship and Marketing.
  • Contribute to the pastoral and academic supervision of students.
  • Committed to liaising with businesses and other organisations to connect the research and teaching capability of the School to professional leads.
  • Have a clear understanding of how the outputs of scholarship and research or professional body engagement can inform curriculum development to enhance the learning experience of students.
