Job Title: Business Analyst - Equity Focused

Duration: Long-term Contract

Location: Sheffield (2 days a week in the office)

We are seeking a Business Analyst with a strong domain in Corporate Action (markets side), with good exposure to equities (cash & derivatives), front office, back-office systems, and post-trade experience.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Manage process issues and reporting effectively, ensuring timely escalation and resolution.
• Review and improve existing processes regularly to enhance efficiency.
• Ensure all MI reports are produced accurately and reviewed in a timely manner.
• Monitor all outstanding confirmations KPIs/KRIs daily, with prompt escalation of issues.
• Understand risk exposure factors in Front Office and Operational Areas and actively work to reduce risks.
• Maintain a robust Business Contingency plan with regular testing for effectiveness.
• Proactively identify, resolve, and escalate problem situations to maximize customer satisfaction.
• Submit accurate periodical MI aligned with customer and business needs.
• Have knowledge of SOX compliance.
