Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced High Voltage Maintenance Delivery Manager to be based at Oxford, Maple Lodge, Basingstoke, or Hampton Treatment Works, depending on your location.

The successful candidate will lead a team of Electrical Engineers/Senior Authorised Persons, overseeing operation, maintenance, and fault-finding activities on high voltage and low voltage systems. Responsibilities include ensuring electrical assets are installed, commissioned, and handed over in accordance with TWUL standards.

Thames Water operates extensive HV and LV electrical networks critical to water production and waste treatment for 16 million customers. Maintaining these assets requires expertise in electrical technology, safety procedures, and support for operational teams.

This role involves engaging with Operations, Engineering, Capital Delivery, and Safety functions to ensure effective management of electrical systems.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing planned and reactive maintenance
• Engaging with contractors and stakeholders
• Supporting asset upgrades and capital projects
• Investigating faults and system failures
• Providing technical leadership and mentoring
• Ensuring safety and compliance

Qualifications:

• Degree or HNC in electrical engineering or relevant experience
• Training in BS7671 and as a Senior Authorised Person
• Experience in electrical maintenance within utilities or water sectors
• Knowledge of safety regulations and electrical safety rules
