Are you prepared to join our client school in Bolton? Our partner school is seeking an enthusiastic Key Stage 2 teacher to start in September 2024 and this role is open to ECTs as well!

This single-form entry school believes in developing children into active learners due through engaging lessons and questioning. The school strives to make the curriculum creative, engaging and fun for all , building on the variable starting points that children have when they enter school. As a Key Stage 2 teacher, you will be responsible for creating purposeful lessons where all children are able to build upon their prior knowledge. The school places an emphasis on questioning and retrieval to assess pupil understanding. As a Year 5 teacher, you will have access to a range of learning schemes support with planning such as Big Cat reading scheme, White Rose Maths as well as Plan Bee.

The ideal candidate for this role should possess strong behaviour management skills and a thorough understanding of the Primary School Curriculum. The competitive rate of pay is £140 - £200 per day, subject to experience.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• Have QTS or QTLS status
• Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
• Previous experience with KS2 classes
• Provide a CV with full employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
• Have the legal right to work in the UK
