The Finance team is looking for a part-qualified Finance Business Partner in Preston.

We offer an opportunity for a part-qualified finance professional studying towards CIMA or ACCA, with study support and development opportunities. The finance function provides strategic and operational management support, including performance analysis, insight, and decision support, aiming to deliver excellent service efficiently.

This role suits a motivated, rounded part-qualified accountant interested in the evolving electricity sector. We seek someone working towards CIMA or ACCA, with the following principal responsibilities:

1. Management Accounting & Transactional Processing: Supporting management accounts, balance reconciliations, supplier/customer billing, credit control.
2. Financial Planning & Analysis: Assisting with business planning, financial statements, cost/revenue analysis, cash flow, and reporting systems.
3. Business Partnering: Collaborating with stakeholders to provide financial analysis and support business performance improvements.
4. Risk, Control, and Assurance: Ensuring risk management and internal controls, supporting assurance activities.

Ideal candidates will have a degree (2:1 or above) or AAT qualification, strong analytical skills, relationship-building ability, results focus, IT proficiency, and excellent communication skills.
