A leading UK law firm is seeking a Regulatory Solicitor to join their Tier 1 Healthcare Regulatory department. This role offers a flexible hybrid working model and the opportunity to manage diverse regulatory cases while providing guidance on critical healthcare issues. Fantastic opportunity for a Regulatory Solicitor to join this Tier 1 listed Legal 500 Healthcare Regulatory department and work for a highly regarded Top 50 firm with a fantastic reputation. Ideally, you will have gained at least 2 years' experience within Healthcare Regulatory and have broad commercial experience across the board.
The role will primarily focus on managing a caseload of inquest files for NHS clients, care homes, and other organizations, along with broader healthcare advisory work. The team handles a diverse range of cases, including NHS Trusts, private healthcare providers, inquests, Court of Protection applications, Mental Health Tribunals, and other regulatory challenges. Responsibilities include advising on and defending prosecutions by the Care Quality Commission, as well as providing guidance on issues such as consent, confidentiality, capacity, best interests, and discharge processes.
This position offers flexible working arrangements across their North West offices and seeks candidates with existing Healthcare Regulatory experience who are well-rounded commercial lawyers eager to handle quality work and advance their careers. The department is nationally spread with nearly 50 lawyers and offers clear progression routes to Principal Associate, Legal Director, and Partner levels.
