A leading Top 50 law firm is seeking a Regulatory Solicitor to join their Tier 1 Healthcare Regulatory department. Ideally, you will have: at least 2 years' experience within Healthcare Regulatory and broad commercial experience across the board.
The role will primarily focus on managing a caseload of inquest files for NHS clients, care homes, and other organisations, along with broader healthcare advisory work. The team handles a diverse range of work including NHS Trusts, private healthcare providers, inquests, Court of Protection applications, Mental Health Tribunals, and other regulatory challenges. Responsibilities include advising on and defending prosecutions by the Care Quality Commission, and providing guidance on issues such as consent, confidentiality, capacity, best interests, and discharge processes.
This position offers flexible working arrangements across their North West offices, seeking candidates with healthcare regulatory experience who are well-rounded commercial lawyers eager to handle quality work and develop their careers. The hybrid model allows for 2 days in the office and 3 days at home weekly.
You will join as a Senior Associate with opportunities to progress to Principal Associate, Legal Director, and Partner. The department is nationally spread with nearly 50 lawyers and clear progression routes.
