Job summary

A leading financial services business is seeking an interim Payroll Manager for a long-term fixed-term contract during a complex transformation period. The role involves managing payroll operations across multiple jurisdictions and supporting year-end reporting. This hybrid position requires international payroll experience and strong collaboration skills, with three days in the office in the City of London.

Qualifications

  • International Payroll experience is ESSENTIAL, preferably with Polish and US payroll exposure.
  • Strong systems knowledge and/or experience with multiple payroll providers.
  • Excellent collaboration skills with the team and stakeholders.

This role involves managing day-to-day payroll operations and supporting a global transformation project.

Hybrid working: 3 days in the office in the City of London.

Responsibilities
  • Manage daily payroll operations across multiple jurisdictions globally.
  • Support year-end reporting processes.
  • Process monthly reconciliations.
  • Provide advice and support to the wider Payroll team.
  • Operate in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Proactively support the transformation project.
Experience
  • International Payroll experience is ESSENTIAL, preferably with Polish and US payroll exposure.
  • Strong systems knowledge and/or experience with multiple payroll providers.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent collaboration skills with the team and stakeholders.
  • Experience in Financial Services is preferred but not mandatory.
